Irish Mini Owners Club

As a lot of you are probably aware Google Streetview (Irish version) went live today.
Just wondering who will be the first to spot a Mini on it.
The one parked outside your own front door doesn't count !!!

We found our smart earlier at newlands cross, no minis yet though... Well real ones anyway (meow)

does scouting out mates minis at their houses count? mine aint outside mine

i think duble points for a pick up and one that is still being used as a pick up

stan just go into maps.google.com and on the zoom in out bar there is a yellow man just click him and drag him over the road you want and it will bring it up

It looks like Wesley McCloughery but it could be his twin brother Alistair.

No Minis yet but found the brother's car!

I've found that the pictures can be anything up to 18 months old or older!

the pic they have for my parents house still has their old car in the driveway which they got rid of at the beginning of April last year

I notice the same as yourself, my nextdoor neighbours Punto is sitting in the drive and she passed (r.i.p) over a year ago now.

They did all the photography from around march to july last year.
They then had to "blur" car reg numbers and peoples faces. Also they had to stitch together all the photos to make it look (fairly) seamless.
Although this was mostly done automatically there must have been a huge amount of work going on behind the scenes.
What is most surprising is that all this is free despite the huge cost to produce it.
