well yesterday the fuel pump on my car packed in, fairly annoyin that we wernt even in carrick on shannon but got rescued eventually!(gotta love havin road side assist on the insurance!) i have the pump out of the cooper sittin here but i decided to look online for a new 1 when i need it for the cooper and found these 3, how do they justify such differences in prices???

Hi Daniel,
I know these are costly. I have a new one sitting at home, bought
it cause the car was not starting intermitantly, but it wasnt the pump faulty.
It was fitted didnt make any differance so took it out again.
Its yours for a hundred euro if ya want it.

and it not the fuel pump(thanks for the offer jr)..... where do i go from here?? its not the fuse, the wiring seems ok from inside the car at the front to the connector on the pump. its somewhere at the power end as theres no voltage on the line inside the car
please help!!

Look at the the little black relay box thats attached to the top of the brake servo bracket,the relays in there and they suffer from water damage

just swapped that with the 1 off the other car, still nothing. gonna trace the wiring accross the bulk head.... any chance the cut off switch could be knackered???

swapped the cut off switch and relay and it aint workin, just tried starting it and it fired up for bout 2 seconds and then died again. is there any way i can wire up a new power source for the pump of will it need to come from the ecu or anything like that???
