Hi. Well my question is does anyone have any experience with rust bullet or similar products and would you recommend them or not? plan on finishing the sanding of my shell and am considering this as the first two coats onto it.
Thanks.

I had a good experience with Epoxy Mastic: http://www.rustaway.ie/catalog/product_ ... ucts_id=29 The guy who sells it does classic car restorations and is really helpful. We met him at Mondello, talked nearly an hour.

You probably do not want this on the outer shell under the paint - it is very tough stuff, dries in about an hour under water and takes a lot to grind off (even with an angle grinder, wirebrush - 7-8 times the effort of a good primer to remove, a pain prior to welding...)

we used it for underbody including inner wings, subframes and the interior (as it is a convertible).

You're welcome.

But I do not get if you stay away from Rustbullet or Epoxy Mastic now.
