ICE advice needed
I am looking for advice as to what kind of ICE to fit in a Mini.As I have no idea of this kind of stuff I am open to all suggestions as to the type, cost and setup of the system.Music wise everything from the Foo Fighters,Linkin Park to The Waterboys and anything in between would have to be catered for.
Real Clubmans have a square nose.Seriously.

i dunno if u want a huge set up or not but i have a fairly decent one in my mpi. i have a really good alpine head unit that plugs straight into my ipod. i have 2 small alpine speakers below the dash in home made speaker pods. in the back i have the usual 6 inch speakers only there alpine ones and my favorite bit. a 400 watt alpine sub that really gives a kick but has an 8 inch diameter which means it fits on the rear parcel shelf. its powered by an alpine amp in the boot too. im thinkin about gettin a speakerboard with u guessed it alpine speakers:P id recommend alpine any day. there very reasonably priced for the quality that u get out of them.

Get a decent Head Unit, You will need to have one with 2 pre outs, one that you can run a sub off and the other a 4 channel amp. Dont bother with how good the amp is in the Head Unit, as if your amping the signal anyways its not a issue.
I have x2 10cm Alpine speakers in the Dash, x2 JBL 6x9 under the rear seats and a vibe 1500 Watt Sub.
Im Running the 6x9 off a Mutant 4 channel amp. Gives decent sound, but Id change my sub to a smaller one in the cabin or try port the boot someway, because the sub isnt doing its job well in the boot.
Id highly reccomend sound deadening, because when you put the Loud pedal down, the quality goes out the window.

if you have yourself an iphone or ipod touch etc with bluetooth, a bluetooth head unit will stream your music wirelessly over it, very hand, no messy wires either!

Yes Joe it is for the GT,but the weight of the ICE will be more than offset by savings in the engine department.
I was looking at Alpine speakers but I favour the plain black grills as opposed to the Bradford taxi hubcaps look so I was thinking of going with Kenwood speakers.

Give me a PM and I'll go through what I think through that, similar to what we talked about a while back, I can even give you a hand to install if required
