1979 Clubman restoration- Almost there.

Hi,
In February 2008, I started out on the restoration of a 1979 Mini Clubman. I kept a restoration thread going on Mini Resource showing the trials and tribulations of the work.

Anyway, the project turned into a major ground up restoration with 90% the car brought back to bare metal, then Zinc primed, and eventually professionally resprayed/baked in a Fiat/Alfa shade called Giallo Ginestra.
I'm happy to say that the car is now finished and on the road (classic tax and insured). Just wanted to say thanks to Paul D for all the help and to the folks on MiniResource and IMOC for the invaluable advice during the rebuild.
Here are a few highlights of the rebuild in progress and a few pics of what he(christened Bob) looks like today.
And Finally , Last weekend,
Once again, thanks to everyone who helped out along the way.
Roll on a new project for 2010
regards,
Unfit.
