Auto Test action from Sligo at the weekend.

Post by The Marcos Graveyard »

There was a round of the Auto Test Championship held in Sligo last weekend. The weather was brutal but the action was fantastic.

Here is a sample of some of the Mini's on the day.

The guy in the clip is Eamon Byrne, one of Ireland's top auto testers.

Eamon has represented Ireland in auto testing and has also won the overall Irish Retro Challenge at the wheel of a mini.

When was the last time you adjusted the shoes on the back ?

Or the cable for that matter ?

It's an easy job and one that should be done every 3000 miles.

Check your handbrake quadrants and make sure they are free, then check the state of the levers in the rear hub.

What always amazes me is how they remember the sequence to complete the route.
