Cheers Paul,
I don't want to be bringing anyone down but I'm seriously losing my cool over this Mini. To be honested I don't think I can take it anymore. It's staying were it is for the time being until I figure out what to do. At this stage I'm thinking something I never thought I'd think. ''Is it even worth it anymore''

Stick with it Stan. Have you anyway of hiring a trailer and driving down some weekend?
Sure when yourself and Mustard have the gearbox changed you won't know yourself

You can rent a car trailer in Hills Hire for about €100, hitch it to your mothers car and persuade someone with open insurance to drive it down and collect Studley.

He is staying there for the time being. I have not got the patience for it. I majorly pissed of about the whole thing and have been let down by people along the way that I depended on.

Trust me I'v tryed every one under this God given world and no luck. It's really not my week and I can't see this utter s**t luck going away any time soon so I'm going to leave himthere. With the luck I'v been having Stud will prob just blow up on the trailer or fall of of so I'm staying away!

Thanks lads,
1973 (Dean) has very kindly sorted this out for me. Stud with a bit of luck should be back mid-way during this week. We have to wait and see. I just seriously hope nothing like this happens again!

If you are still stuck towards the end of the month i'll be going from Cork to Sligo with a half empty 16' car transporter, I can stick it on the back and drop it to you on the way home.

If anyone else is stuck for transport, the car transporter will be empty from Dublin to Cork and either empty or half empty from Sligo to Dublin.
I am waiting on a phone call so an exact date can't be given at the minute.

Hey Tom,
Once again thanks for the MtM lift. 1973 is kind enough to bring Stud's engine down to me on Friday as he is staying with friends and he is even kinder to have organised for him to be brought home Wednesday. All going well he'll be driving by the end of November and then there will be the insurance and N.C.T to sort out. But don't worry, he'll be back on the MtM next year to prove himself.
