hi lads,
there is a product out there, called novastop,,,a bit dearer than your ordinary rad weld, seems to be a very good quality....your local motor factor should carry it...

that Novastop is great stuff!
i used it on my old vw pissrat and it worked a charm!
most of the rally lads swear by it
agreed though it is a bit pricey but still worth it

I realise that it would probably work, but the idea of putting a clogging agent into somewhere that i want water to flow just isnt a good job in my mind.

I've used Novastop in my Volvo and it worked great. Effectively a stone through the rad meant buying a new one which cost E150.

The last time I priced a rad for this was about 14 years ago at £1200 + VAT !!!!. I got it recored for £100.The guy that recored it has retired since. I think a stone has hit it this time.

Wow,,,,, Thats expensive.... What car is it for?
Novastop is good stuff..... A lot of guys put a shot of it in every rover k-series engine they service to help the old head gasket along and it does wonders....
