Night Out in Dublin This Weekend

Hello Dubliners, Dublin residents and visitors!

Who'd be up to meet up around a few good pints over the weekend? John (madjackjr) is coming down and Garreth did promise to hit the town one of these days as long as there's beer involved. Would be lovely to see Tony, Liam, Keith, etc. if you're around?

No fixed abode planned for our drunken reminiscing and news so far but I would have suggestions to put to a vote. Still do not know exactly who's around Dublin or not in the club, so apologies for forgetting memorable people

So who's in?

Rosalie

Well lads so far looks like Friday night, but I finish at 10pm at work in Loughlinstown, so will not make it into town until 10.30pm at the earliest. I suggest we meet in The Long Stone or Doyle's near the Screen cinema, as they'll be close to where I'll be dropped off. We can then decide whether to move on to another pub. It is Friday night so migh get too crowded for comfort.

Could make it to The Stag's Head I suppose too. Would probably avoid Temple Bar anyway.

Otherwise we could meet in Dandelion - it is a favourite for some of my colleagues. They do nice cocktails and play music on request... There's a dancefloor and a nice comfy set of benches... And the volume's not too loud to hear each other usually.

Bit tight with money so not too keen on D2. Did threaten John to make him visit the George a few times... Cafe en Seine I haven't been to in ages, but I have fond memories of a Long Island Ice Tea.

You take your pick.

Dandelion it is.

Will not be drinking as I will be driving. Everyone is welcome. I am moving to Galway very soon, took a job with SAP. Loads to do and not enough time - or money! The stress of it all! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

It all happened really fast but sometines it's better that way, especially since I've been in Dublin for 5 years now and won't have time to look back and hesitate. Have not lived in Galway for 6 years now, but it's still a place I love.

That's all for now folks.
