The only thing I got to do on my Mini today was a short run of about 8 miles, however!!
We have just stopped working on zakgt's new woody which arrived here yesterday.
Stripped and rebuilt carb and dizzy, after getting the car to run on one cylender did a compression test which lead to unseezing three valves.Fitted clutch slave and master cylinders.Unseezed rear brakes and fitted cylinders and shoes. Car now drives but waiting on new front brake cylinders. Also managed to patch up Simons boot floor along the way.Had five minis spread around the garden today.

Working on the RSP this weekend, fitted the drivers door glass and built up the rest of the door, fitted the four wheel arches, fitted and wired the front indicators and headlamps, fitted bonnet badge, changed oil and filter, fitted new plugs and leads.Re-fitted instument pod bracket and the instruments.Hope to get it started tomorrow after which I will change the shocks, pads and discs, adjust rear brakes and finish fitting interior.Plenty of time before the boat for the IMM. :D

no nct yet but its booked in for the 14th of november beleive it or not the earliest i could get in nass yea cage is on the list for this week .removeing the sound system i reckon took about 15 to 18 stone out of the mini so pauls(merlins)engine seriously moves the car now so its more enjoyable to drive it now feels like a 1330 mini fix has sorted the brakes and electrics and steering so its nearly there

well he wasnt too bad at all, just a bit of dust on the top parts but nothing major,
gave him a going over with some high resin polish and will go down in an hour or so and give him a coat of high gloss,
should be enough for now :D
