mondello video clips (racing minis)

Post by 1973 »

it was great to have full access to all of mondello, getting onto the pit lane and looking at race minis being prep'd for races was certainly a first for me. link to some video clips i captured on the day of the race minis getting lined up in the pit lane and as they came off the top corner onto the straight.

Dean,

That last video in the pitlane as the Minis were lining up is brilliant. Great to see so many familiar faces and their Minis like Mark, Bert, Ray. Even Jenny makes a cameo appearance in the pits. Paul Hickey was keeping an eye on things.

Well done,

Billy

A bit of Alberts block landed beside Paul on the pit wall.

Looks like a rod came out the side of the block.

Both block and gearbox casing damaged.....

Love that last video - I didn't realise the car was as noisy outside the cockpit too!

Fantastic videos, they had you in straight line speed, but the Mini made up for it under breaking and cornering.

Top class. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
