squeakin noise from driverside front

hi i orginally posted a msg bout this problem bout a month ago. thought it was either the driveshaft or gearbox diff. it was neither thank god. have my nct on sunday. it sounds like the noise is commin from the top of the suspension. its a rubbing noise. if i drive my mini theres no noise for bout 15mins then it starts getin louder and louder. is there grease nipples at the top of the suspension. or has anyone got any suggestions. cheers again for all your help

It's more than likely the knuckle joint thats worn. They are cheap to replace , but you need a cone spring compressor to do the job. Make sure that you get the correct one for your Mini as there are two types, one for standard wheels and another for Sportspack cars.

Actually the knuckle joints come in two types

:pre 91
:post 91 (with built in spacer)
