Very varied entry list for this year's Mizen to Malin Run. As you can see, there are Minis travelling from 23 counties from all over Ireland. Entries received by county are from:

Cork: 11
Dublin: 9
Clare: 7
Donegal: 5
Cavan: 4
Meath: 4
Kildare: 3
Wexford: 3
England: 2
Galway: 2
Kerry: 2
Leitrim: 2
Limerick: 2
Roscommon: 2
Sligo: 2
Westmeath: 2
Wicklow: 2
Armagh: 1
Down: 1
Laois: 1
Louth: 1
Mayo: 1
Tipperary: 1

IMOC Eastern Members: 17
IMOC Southern Members: 16
IMOC Western Members: 15

That's the final list folks, a total of 69 Minis. Well done to all that entered. It will be fun!

Liam Cotter made an interesting observation to me. Looking at this year's entry list, there are only 5 maybe 6 of the 60 crews entered this year that took part in the original Mizen to Malin back in 1999.

It just shows that 10 years later, even though the Mini is long since out of production, and newer, more technically advanced alternatives have appeared on the scene in that time, that there is still serious enthusiasm for a car designed 50 years ago. And incredibly, where other clubs have a problem with an advancing age profile, the average age of MTMers is definitely dropping which must be welcomed for the future of the event and the club.

Hey Billy,
Are Mini Metros allowed on the MTM?

Interesting question, especially the early A-series models with a similar suspension to the Hydrolastic 60s Minis.

Is this a genuine query or a pot-stirring one?

Billy,
It's a bit of both, you made the rule of Classics and deriviatives only, but with this in the "For Sale" section ( http://www.irishminis.ie/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3086 ) it is a serious enough question. I wouldn't ask it about a Rover 100.
