The morning started with Justin and Siobhan from Naas calling to my place for a cuppa before heading over to Emmett's to collect himself and JR in JR's Cooper and Mervyn & Bernie in the South African Clubman GTS. Justin's custom Clubby was the talk of the day and it was its first run after a 3-year project. Well done to both of ye for travelling from Naas to be part of the Mallow parade.

We arrived at the meeting point and were met by a great gathering of Minis already there. We had club Minis from Limerick, Clare, Tralee, Cork, Blarney, Dungarvan, Dromahane, Clonmel and Ballyhooly!!!!

We assembled outside Chadwicks in Mallow along with all the other entrants

After the Parade we went for a spin through the countryside via Kildorrery and the Ballyhouras. We stopped at Ardpatrick where the lads did a great impression of Corner Boys:

Back then to the Corbett Court outside Ballyhea where we have been well looked after on the Charleville charity run the week before.

Forgot to mention that Kieran O'Carroll came down from Dublin especially so we can expect more photos.

We had a brilliant day in Mallow and we got a great reception from the locals. Johnny Murphy got asked to step out of his Hornet to take a bow in front of the reviewing stand. It was announced that the IMOC was 20 years old this year so it was great publicity for the club.

The converted van belongs to David Quirke from Cork. It's a lovely machine and we worked hard on him yesterday not to sell as it's very unusual and nicely done, especially the leather interior.

I want to say thanks again for the trip on sunday. I really enjoyed it. It was a good laugh.

The car was for sale on ebay alright. I didn't have tinted windows though. It does have air con alright.

What an absolutely fantastic day out, it couldn't have been better. Amazing sunshine, great array of mini's in all colors, shapes & sizes and a fantastic bunch of people.

Few more pictures to check out:
(we had 2 camera's on the day & took a total of 100+ pics but I reckon Billy has summed up the day really well in his report.... & it would take a day to upload them all!)
