Johnny Murphy has got us invited to display our Minis in the Mallow St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17th.

Mallow is the point where the N20 Cork-Limerick road meets the N72 Dungarvan-Killarney road so it should suit most of our Southern Region members though everyone is invited along with their 1959-2000 Mini.

Entry to the parade is free and we'll assemble at the Toyota garage on the Limerick side of Mallow no later than 12.30.

Contact Johnny at 087-9503913 or let us know on this topic.

Goose,

I don't know myself but Johnny Murphy has been ringing all members and hopefully there should be a decent turnout. The plan is to do the parade and meet up afterwards for a cuppa and a chat.

See you tomorrow,

Billy

JR,

Was talking to Emmett and we'll meet ye at his place at 12.

Just called in to meet Justcoupe who is on his first run with his latest project and camping in Fermoy. He's calling to me first and we'll head over to Emmett's then. Expect to see photos of a very unusual Mini in tomorrow's Parade.

According to http://www.aaroadwatch.ie/traffic/defau ... eid=CORLIM the N20 is clear after that accident today.

Are you travelling with Goose and Tom?

Pat,

I know the Charleville vintage lads are going to Mallow as that's how Johnny Murphy got the invite. Even if there is a parade in Charleville, there will be a detour along the road which runs parallel to the main street on the Kilmallock side. You shouldn't have a problem.

Johnny Murphy got the following thanks from the Mallow Parade organisers. Well done to all that turned up and showed the IMOC in such good light.

"Hi John, Rose here from St. Pat's Parade Committee in Mallow. Thank you for your very kind words in the Mallow Star. It was an absolute pleasure having ye in the Parade. Will you please convey our thanks to all concerned for their patience and understanding on the day. I really enjoyed when you had to get out and do a twirl for us. Thanks for being such a good sport. Ye will be very welcome to take part in the Mallow Parade anytime."
