No problem to you
Do you have the glass, interior and all the parts to rebuild it?

Well sort of i have the glass ready to go back into the car.I have bought alot of new parts just to get the mini rollin , the interior is still as it is. Ihave a load of parts off Somerford that i have orderd but have to pay for inc rubers, chrome grill, window rails, door and boot handels, crossply tyres carpet and alot more just to finish the car right.
As a student its very hard to get money to do these things because i dont get paid in school.

Hi i haven done much on the mini.

So in the last 2 months i got money together and decided to paint the car myself

because i could not afford to pay €2500 - €4000 for a pro spray job.
I have applyed under body sealing and then painted ,and even polished underneath the car.

My 1960 Austin Seven, has a silver speedo with clear needle tipped in red. Its original to the car but looks like a Morris speedo, not austin as is on the 59 Register. It could be something to do with it being assembled in Dublin CKD, Dave.

Any more progress on this very interesting mini? Is it the oldest Irish built mini surviving?

Clive Moynan has a 59 that is still on the road.I do not know the build date but it is a remarkably original car that has been in his family since new.
