I have a 1293 cc stage 1 engine in my 86 mini. The car is used at the weekends for a little blast here and there.
I am wondering what engine & power I would need to get the car down to a 5-6 sec approx 0-60. I would like something fairly driveable with decent torque. Also would normal box do or would I need straight cut gears?
Also who would you recommend as a builder. I know MED are good but are you paying a premium for them.
What do people think of things like KAD 16 valve, 8 port or the bike/vtec z car conversions in terms of reliability etc?
