Hi there people My name is Brian From Longford, Found this site while browsing for parts,
ive Got a 1974 Chocolate Brown Mini 850, (in Quite a Sorry State) and a Dragon Green 1980 austin mini 998cc with sportpack arches and 13' minilites on it
Im Currently Concentrating on Getting the 1980 running Again and Found An a+ engine from a metro to go in with 60,000 miles on it, But thats where knowledge of minis Ends, So Hopefully ill Get Some Advice off you Guys in the near Future, Cheers Brian 8)

Thanks for the Welcome Guys, Im From just outside the Town Who's The Leader from Longford??? :lol: Could Do with some help with my Minis as im Still Learning about them!!! :shock: Im A Big BMW E30 nut also, and most of my time and Money has gone into my 318IS over the last couple of years, and its Time to Get the Minis Sorted now, and Ive just over a Year to get the 850 Back on the Road as the Missus wants it as the Wedding Car :lol:

The Marcos graveyard is one of our resident Longfordese but I,m not sure he will be any good to you as you have set a realistic goal of having the car on the road within a year,from what we can gather he works in decades rather than years. :D :D

Ah Not too far From Me at all, Do you Know Gavin Mitchell?? He's A Mate of mine and has a Zeemax kitted Mini, Had him out on sat To try and Get the Green Mini Started, Got it Turning But Didnt Fire!!! :evil: :evil: Maybe i Could Pick your Brain on it!!?? I Have another A+ Engine out of a Metro to go into it tho, And have Scourced an MG Metro but just cant afford the Engine from it at the Moment :roll:

Im in Lisduff, Just a mile and a half out of town on the Moydow Road, Gav is still Driving the Mini, Well he was last week, LOL, What mini have you Got?? its not a Blue one on minilights by any Chance?? Theres a Guy up the Road from me Driving a Copper Coloured Cooper on English plates Lovely looking motor

Ah Yes i know it now, 84 LM 121 Flying about longford along time now, People Tell me there's not muct to minis that you dont Know!!

who are u tellin, have been meanin to change the brakes for two weeks, took a month to change an overchargin battery that smelled worst than doodoo, dont worry you ll get there, looks really clean, what work does it need?

Cheers Took me Ages to Find these Wheels Very Rare and Sought after in the BMW circles, They need a Refurb now tho, The "Knight the Jewler mini" as it s know ive herd is no sluggish machine either if roumers are to be belived, lol :D

Joe its Fairly Good For an 80, slight Rust creaping in on the Roof Seam now, but otherwise bodywork is fantastic , i was Driving it every day for a month when i bought it Breaks need to be bled and electrics sorted as rear lights wont work, But one day it wouldnt start and its been that way the last 2 years :oops: , its leaking oil from the engine, but ive a spare to in with 74,000 on it so ill probably do that as its a good Dry engine,
