Family day

Post by 66mini »

The DL Miniers have preposed a Family Day which COULD include a meet the press aspect. In view of travelling with kids the "are we there yet" aspect has to be considered so would this best be a region thing ? If so does the idea have any merit, is so what regions want to get involved ? My region is the eastern so would anyone like to post ideas for location, activities , BBQ etc .
Is it a good or bad idea to have it as a meet the press or even as meet the IMOC ?

Comments please.

Sounds like a good idea to me,there are plans to hold a BBQ later in the year but there is no reason why we can,t have one earlier in the year, also any coverage in the press may get new members which would benefit the club.As regards a venue, maybe Powerscourt waterfall or Portrane beach.
Real Clubmans have a square nose.Seriously.

It has been proposed that the family day and the Powerscourt BBQ are one and the same event. Comments please and give an indication as to who and from where will attend.

I think we should try toget Billy up to handle the ice creams. as those who attend the AGM know he is experianced in this area.
