Has anyone fitted or knows of a mini fitted with coil springs instead of rubber cones.

A friend like the idea of a mini but back problems stops her from owning one, will this help or does anyone know of another solution to soften the ride . Intended being fitted to a 1995 approx car

Minisport sell the Moulton Smootha Ride system, developed to soften the Mini ride. I don't know anyone who has it fitted though.

Hi 66mini,

I have the smootha ride kit fitted, Minisport.com do 2 types (sportpack and non sportpack), the suspension is fully adjustable, and the ride is alot smoother, its great, you need a special compression tool if you fit it yourself, I can recommend a good mini expert besed in the SE if needed.
