There's time when i walk by it in morning and feel sick to the stomack, that car was everything to me, now my folks are now at me to get something done to it, i dont want to part with it at all, never do i want to part with it, i want to get it back on road , i would really love if someone out there had some time on their hands to get my mini back to scratch , meaning a project, and of course there has to be a price to be paid, that i know. and there would be know time scale, i really need help with this, please , and thanks

Whereabouts are you?
How bad is the damage?
Do you have any photos?

What do you mean when you saty the "wishbone is gone"

Do you mean the bottom suspension arm and tie bar, the upper suspension arm (all at the front) or do you mean the rear radius arm ?

well the car smacked into the curb, i have to turn the steering wheel to about 5 o'clock position to drive straight, so it looks like its at the front but at the same time i aint to sure to be honest

You'll need to check to see if the front subframe is damaged, look for signs of buckeling just above the diff.

Similar happened to our white mini. Hit kerb RHF and wheel disappeared under the car.

We found that the upper wishbone and subframe were OK, but the lower wishbone was bent, tie rod broken and the lower steering swivel joint had sheared off. Also the drive had been damaged and nice GB Alloy wheel written off.

Paul Kell came to our help, second hand wishbone tie rod and driveshaft, and the correct spanner to undo the brake hose together with the vital knowledge to do the job.

If your car is still driving it cant be too bad. Our case showed that you can be lucky to get away without bending the front subframe.
