Judging by recent ex-works sales reported in the Mini Cooper Register, don't be surprised if GRX5D makes £90-100k (and it's a reshell!!!!!).

Its the mk2 GRX 5D that went to Canada in the late 1960's for BMC, its an original works shell.

Its not the Mk1 shell the GRX5D registration first appeared on, however the mk2 shell and the registration were put together around 1968 by the BMC works team.
They wanted the rally Minis to be the current mk2 model.

from memory the mk1 shell ended up BOO911F, or something simlar.

Not knocking anyone, but I do recall Paddy Hopkirk stating ( I think its in one of the Anniversary Programs made) that with all the repairs that the Works Minis had done to them, that none of them were original after being sold by BMC.

I would presume the same can be said of the present day works rally cars.
