barn find mk2

just brought home an austin 1968 mk2.irish assembled mk2.hasnt seen day light scine 1980.was bought by alady in 1969,she passed away an her son has had it in the barn ever scine.needs lota work doin to it.most of the panels need replaced.not sure about the engine yet.put a battery in it,every thing is working.

Damn you skelly,I thought I was the only one around here with an Irish MKII, :( .Is is an 850 or 1000 and what colour is it,would love to see some pics of it.Us Irish built boys are a select bunch,welcome to the club.

ihave pictures on the camera ineed to find the disk to load them to the computer. its an 850,its a really dark red.dont no what its called. there only 52000 on the clock.would love to get alook at yours.

There is a thread in the general section of the forum with the heading " return of the MKII".Have a look at that and also in the members galleries under Aidan Mc Grath and remember nothing is impossible when you hire experts. :lol: By the way,mine has 48k on the clock,genuine.

10" is enough for any man.
