Spark plugs

I got new ngk spark plugs for my mini and the gaps on them are 8mm and there was a 6mm gap on the old ones. Which is the correct gap?

The plug gap should only be 25 thousandths of an inch or 0.6 of a millimeter on your feeler gauge.

What happened to the thickness of the cardboard on the major cigarette box or was that a trade secret.
