Booking is no problem, you can now book on-line at http://www.imm2007.com it's €65 for the weekend and children under 13 are free, entry fee includes camping fee and a meal on the Saturday evening, plus of course the commemorative T-shirt.

Getting there all depends on how long you want to go for really, you can go the quick route via Esberge which has less driving but more ferry or go via France/Holland/Belgium/Germany/Denmark or whatever.

Ferry prices will be high as it's high season, but being an IMOC member will get you a preferential discount which will save you more than the cost of your yearly membership subscription, all the more reason to join really :-)

I'm sure there will be a good contingent going from the club, with a few different routes being chosen. So don't worry, we'll not let you get lost.

P.S. Ask Woody, ZakGT or BlackSe7en about the advantages of AA 5Star Euro Cover.

There is a lot of interest in this already. Most people talking about 2 or 3 week trip touring either Denmark-Germany, or Denmark- Sweden.
I'm hoping for a 3 week tour proberbly based around Germany.

For any of ye that haven't travelled abroad to an IMM, if you can get the time off at all, go for it. You get the best of Minis from all over Europe but more than that, it's a big party from start to finish. Over the years the Irish contingent have gotten to know Mini enthusiasts from Germany, Sweden, Finland, and the UK and once you get into the scene, you'll be well looked after.

Unlike a one-day show where everyone packs up and heads for home afterwards, an IMM usually starts on a Friday night and ends up Sunday.

With an IMM, imagine a convoy of Irish Minis at the ferry and then travelling across Europe. Forget Ryanair (Mick Leary, don't sue me), and bring your Mini to Europe.

Start saving your pennies. With the MTM and an IMM to go to, 2007 is going to be a busy year for the IMOC.

I'm very happy to see that some of you are thinking about coming to our Imm2007 in Denmark and we are looking forward to meeting you all :)

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask

And if anyone is wondering about Speed limits in Denmark ?
No problem, we have very good traffic signs that you can not miss

KMG, it is well worth a trip to an IMM. It is a few years since i have been to one (Sweden in 95). Don't forget the AA cover for UK and Continental driving!

Unfortunately due to the B&B high season, I won't be able to make the IMM next year but the good news is that I have the pass for IMM2008 in Holland. Even better, I've just acquired the car to do it in. More anon. Have arranged a transporter this morning to collect it.

So far I've heard of about 9 serious cars heading for Denmark. Most are making it there family holiday taking 2 to 3 weeks. Most plans include either southern Sweden or northern Germany and of course Legoland. I'll be there.

I will not be spending2-3 weeks over there because we are heading to disney in Orlando so it will be 2 days travelling, the IMM itself and 2 days getting home and maybe a holiday to get over that trip.

The mini, more than just a brand.

I went to book my tickets for the IMM today, the paypal option on the IMM website isn't working, so I decided to do it via International Bank Transfer, I got the IBAN number and bank details from the web, but could not find a name for the account, my branch, AIB in Longford would not accept the Payment Application without this, has anyone else had this problem ?

I'll try to find some info and let you all know.

Neil.
