Loose steering after attempted theft

Hi all,
As the title suggests, car was attempted stolen but thankfully I had a pedal to wheel lock. Unfortunately this has caused a severe looseness in the steering. From what I can see it is the "clasp" that hangs down from below the dash board at the very top to the steering column.

I assume these are fairly straightforward forward to replace and if so, what is the part I am lookong for?

Thanks

Its usually a shear bolt through that bracket.

That bracket is quite strong , check the condition of the parcel shelf above it. If you have a drop bracket the problem may be there. check the steering wheel itself for a break .

Thanks both. You can see in the video below where it is loose

It may be something easier than replacing the bracket completely

Looks like the steering lowering bracket is broken, just replace it . Cost less than a fiver.
