Irish Mini Owners Club

I am organising a one day mini run on Saturday 2nd October from the most Northern point to the most Southern point of Ireland, leaving the Northern point at 6am sharp.

The plan is to use Google Maps (no Tulip Road maps ) a link of the route will be sent through Whats app to anyone taking part.

All covid 19 guidelines will be adhered to.

The route is going to be very simple with a straight run from Letterkenny (where we will stop for breakfast )on down the N17 with a lunch stop in Kilcolgan and on down the west coast hopefully getting the ferry across the Shannon. then a run through north kerry to Tralee,Killarney over Mols gap and straight to the head via Bantry. I’ll post a list of towns we are passing through closer to the day.

The start has been put back to 7am as route is straight enough forward which is 10 hrs driver or 7 for Simon reilly , route is available so text me on WhatsApp if you are doing it and haven't got it sent to you yet.

Well done guys,great turn out of Clubmans, how did it go?
I see 17 names on the list and I know Simon couldn't make it. 12 cars at Malin but only 10 at Mizin and an extra yellow clubman in the middle somewhere.

13 in total started. 1 car was only doing half so gone after lunch stop. One car broke down in Galway and limped it home. Another car slight issue in Sligo but got to continue down to the hotel in Bantry so 10 cars made it to mizen head. Google maps worked out well with a slight change of route along the way sent out via the WhatsApp group making it easy for everyone to follow. Hopefully next year the MTM weekend will return
