Can anyone tell me the easiest way of identifying the difference between sequential and simutanilus fuel injection on the mpi. I know sequential has a pick up on the cam but we're is it. Any help would be great. I want the sequential model.

There is only one Multi Point Injection system used on Minis and is fitted to all European minis '97 -'00.
What you may be mixing up is Jap minis from '97 on that used Single point injection on an MPi engine.

OK. When I get mine I'll delve further I've been researching the mpi and came across this. I will update later. I'm putting a plan together.
