Side lights

Battling with electrics on a 1980 Mini 1000
I have everything working again except for side lights / instrument lights.
I have tried a different fuse and light switch.
Any advice welcome

IMM pressure is on.
Your looking in the right areas and since the car has been lying up I would think fuse board connections. Use a test lamp to check that there is power going into and out of the fuse.
