I have just received notification of the renewal of my insurance and shocked at the increase.

I have a multi car policy with AXA with 2 cars on it.

Last year if was €239 and now it's €359. Over 50% increase.

Can anybody give me suggestions of other insurances companies that do vintage multi policies.

Robin

Try autoline up north. I had my mark two golf and they were willing to add an Audi S4 to my policy.

Worth a call and they don't frown on mods as long as they are declared it's fine.

Autoline are good and don't have an issue with insuring the car classically even if your under 25. I had a few issues with them though. The first issue with them was the 24hr breakdown recovery they give with the policy has a load of terms and conditions its nearly pointless having. When I broke down it took about 4/5hrs back and forth on the phone arguing about how far they would bring me and in the end I just had to get a friend to tow me. The second one was that they say you get 50% back on your premium for the months the car is off the road when you declare it off the road with them but what they didn't say was when you go to put it back on the road after the winter that there is a €100 admin fee so it ends up costing more to take it off the road.

Carol Nash up north are supposed to be quite good also so maybe give them a shot aswel.
