Hi guys
I'm just about ready to collect my barn find mini, did a bit of oil lubrication on it yesterday and have the wheels off for replacements to go on when I find some
As its been in a barn for a few years the key is lost and the steering lock is on
Has anybody got any advice on what to do as I don't want to smash the lock and is it possible to get a replacement key ??

Your best bet at the moment is to remove the complete steering l
lock . to do this remove the cowell around the steering colm 2 screws .
the lock/ignition is held on with 2 sheer bolts ( ie the heads are flat ). Dont panic a good dot punch and a hammer wil loosen these and drop your complete lock .
