how much does it cost to ship parts from mini spares??

Post by vannistelrooy10 »

here is what i am on the look out for,
headliner
13x6 deep dish polished ultralites
rear roll cage
group5 arches
rubber seals for the boot, doors and windscreens front and rear.
dash
sparco harnesses
2 bucket seats and subframes

i was thinking of ordering some of the parts through mini spares
so i was wondering costs to ship it over?? they add shipping on after you go to checkout, is this o.k for here too??

Why are minis sooooo expensive on buy and sell and most are shitters

It sounds like the stuff you want to order is very bulky and could take up a couple of pallets. I had a gearbox brought back by a courier from the UK recently and you are talking about 150 Euros.

It could be cheaper to bring a van over and collect the stuff yourself.

If you go through MiniSpares website, they won't be able to calculate the shipping for you there and then. You should ring them up directly and ask them to quote you for shipping. In the meantime, price getting a van over on the ferry and have a figure in your head for comparison.

Hope it helps,

Irene Woods of Woods Motors in Aughnacloy Co. Tyrone, is an agent of Mini Sport, she gets things in regularly, Might be worthwhile getting the stuff through her and going up to collect it rather than getting it posted/couriered over.

There is a basic website with directions, enquiries and contact details at
