IMM 2016 in Belgium takes place 12th -16th May 2016
Tickets price currently €57 go up to €67 on 1st.July and will continue to rise as time goes by.
There are several ways to get there.
Ferries
Ireland- France
Ireland- UK - France/Belgium
Flights
Dublin- Eindhoven (Neitherlands) 20 miles from IMM
Dublin- Zaventem (Brussels) 50 miles from IMM
My thoughts at the moment are to take the direct ferry to France .This is the nearest the IMM will be to the Nurburg Ring for some years so that may need to be revisted. Also came accross La Coupole in France worth a visit.

If anybody knows any other places of interest between Cherbourg and Lommel please let us know.

Might be a tad out of the way but the old disused circuit at Reims is interesting.

Joey,
Basically, you really need the Tesco credit so that every time you buy petrol, parts from Minispares, insurance, Dunnes, Supermacs, in fact anything at all where you can use a credit card, you accumulate Tesco points which add up every 3 months and you can spend against Irish Ferries. Every tenner in Tesco points is worth 40 quid on the ferry. It works for Stena but you are limited to the amount you can spend there. It's all on
http://www.tesco.ie
The gas thing is that you don't ever have to shop in Tesco's.
I've been doing it for years and I'm going to France next month and the ferry is costing me nothing!

Bit early to book ferries yet.
Have been talking with regular IMM er's and they seem to favour sailing directly to France the previous weekend and visiting some WW2 sites in Normandy then hitting the Nurburg Ring on the way to IMM.
Most people doing a short trip will proberbly sprint through the UK.
I'm sure this will be discused more at the IMM17 meeting that Joe is setting up soon.

Just wondering what boats are people thinking? I'm restricted for dates as I've to fly home on the Friday and fly back out Sunday. Both Stena line and Irish ferries are heading out Tuesday the 10th. Irish ferries prob a better time as you arrive in France at 10am that Wednesday where Stena doesn't arrive into 4.30. Coming back Stena is coming back the following Wednesday where Irish ferries don't sail till the Thursday. I'm looking at booking before the 12th oct as 25% off. Will work about under €400 what ever boat ye take.

Probably back through the UK, Keith. Once's the IMM is over, it's time to come home and landbridge is the quickest way.

Hi Adrian,
can I enquire what dates / times the flights are ? I wont give enough time off work to drive but flying might be an option.
thanks
