Copper coast run 2015

Hi everyone. Just want to let you know that I'm running the copper coast road run again this year on Sunday the 26th April. This is the third year running this run and going to change it around this year. The copper coast is the coast road between Waterford City and Dungarvan. It's some of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. I also intend to visit the magic road again up by Mahon falls. I'll put up times closer to the event. I hope to have minis from both the southern and the eastern regions. Thanks for looking

Hi just a wee update on this run. We will be starting from the woodlands hotel in Waterford City at 12 sharp. We will meet up from 11.30. It's free to all signed up members for this year. There is a €5 charge for anyone that is a non member because of insurance reasons. It would be great if ye could bring a packed lunch. There is a maxol just before the woodlands hotel that make rolls/sandwiches and all of that sort of thing. This is the 3rd year running and each year people have enjoyed the run. It covers some beautiful coast line and some great mini roads. The woodlands is quite cheap to stay in for anyone that wanted to make a weekend out of it and has a swimming pool and all on site. Even if u don't have a mini call down and say hi and meet the gang.

Weather is looking a bit cooler for the day but looks like we are going to get a dry one. If people would prefer I can stop in a garage that has a subway and also does hot dinners that's on the route instead of having a picnic on boat strand. We will see Sunday morning how cold it is. Looking forward to seeing ye all. The woodlands hotel is located on the dunmore road in Waterford City. If you come over the bridge turn left down the quay and then turn left at the lights at the tower hotel and follow the road all the way out and it's on your left hand side. If your coming from cork take the exit into Waterford and stay on the duel carriageway through all the roundabouts till you come to the hospital roundabout and turn right there and the hotel is on your left as your heading out the dunmore road.
