Websites for getting parts.

Post by Louthlad17 »

Iam brand new to this Club.Hope this is the right place. Sorry if it isn't.
Bought a 1991 cooper s and looking for a few bits for it. Need a retractable Ariel as mine has a rusted solid and can't find a good site to get parts on.
Found a site in America that had one and It was €102 to send It by ups. Also looking to replace The locks on the car as Only one works and odd keys. Any help Would be great. Thanks

I've always had good service from Somerford Mini. http://www.somerford-mini.co.uk/

Their website is a mine of information and they usually have everything in stock, if they don't, they let you know (unlike some of the other UK traders).

You can buy a barrel set for your locks, and replace all the locks in the Mini or you can find the FS number on the odd lock and get a key for it.

Don't know if original aerials are still available but Somerford would have something to suit, otherwise try your local Halfords or Motorfactors.

A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.
