Hi all, was just wondering has any one converted their door locks to Central locking off the existing rover key fob? If so was it an easy process and or what kit did you use?
Cheers
Al

Re: Central locking
I have fitted the minispares one with an aftermarket alarm and I refitted one that came on my Equinox ( make unknown ). Both of these were the lever type and needed some modifing to get to operate reliably. I have worked with the Rover alarm and it is quite easy to connect to.
I have seen ads for a cable operated system between the motor and lock and to me it looked a better system, I'll try and find details later. Central locking makes living with the mini so much easier I want to fit it to all my cars.
