Got more done tonight!!! Loads to do tomoro :/ few pics of how it's going
Bit more work to do first stage of primer now to rub and block it down!!! Then filler and rub and block it down again!!! Then prime it for last time then wet sand it with 2000 then ready for paint
The worst but was this mark on the wing but that's all rest of the car is immaculate I'm so happy with how it's looking door are so straight all I need is a good bootlid and it'll be complete

Re: Clubman shell rebuild for vtec
So good but done last night ca is 99% ready for paint just few coats of primer and wet sand with 400/600 sandpaper body is smooth! No dents no damage it's all fixed
Wheels send off to get blasted and polished lip centres are being sprayed hopefully nxt week
New tires came yesturday so when I get wheels back they can be fitted then I can drive the vtec to garage and rip it apart after the other ones sprayed could be finished a lot sooner than I thought so I'm very happy , few pics I got last night
Tires
Till nxt week hope ur enjoying the updates as much as I am

Re: Clubman shell rebuild for vtec
So my bro went to garage yesturday and got the car fully primed up! Jus gotta be wet sanded and she's 100% ready for paint few pictures I got on way to work
As u can see , a rediculous amount of time and effort has gone into the body work as we have everything else there for it so! Hopefully will be fully painted and dry for Monday so we can put it together! Then send few bits an pieces off to get modified! Then get it running getting there
Also went and got these done today
Wen I got em
Cleaned em and got polished lip
Tires fitted ready for burnouts
more updates nxt week hopefully painted sand getting it together

Comming along nicely. Don't know what your interior plans are but normaly you would paint the inside of A and B posts ,crossmember and rear bins the same as outside.

I'm sure itll look fantastic once painted considering the standard of work so far, I plan on repairing all rust rebuild engine or swap for a 1275 if i find a good one and then a full respray and a decent interior if i can find van panels ill replace the side windows with those too

Also, take the fuel sender wires down through the bottom of the rear bin rather than over it, just my €0.02.

Re: Clubman shell rebuild for vtec
Just got 3 deliveries today
Number 1 is my two new type r integra shafts
I'm only using the inner cv joints for my honda/mini shafts
Number 2 is my gear shift extender for my buddyclub short shifter
Number 3 is my new arches with self tappers and rubber trim
Also my wheel nuts for my super trax,
Iv got no pics as they in back of car and herself is out
All I'm waiting for is my minispares order, which was placed over a week ago
Lately they're deliveries are taking a longggggghh time
So down garage tonight to rebuild shafts and few niggly bits n pieces

Re: Clubman shell rebuild for vtec
So got to it again tonight!!! Brought the new shafts down and split them and stripped the vtec ones out and cleaned em and refitted em cleaned up everything, fixed one of my lug bolts as one snapped and took the bottom arms off and adjusted a little then cleaned em up ! While I had everything stripped off(hubs, arms, brakes) my bro got cracking on the hi los and suspension cones all in and looking great didn't take many pics as was full of grease but got few
I'm happy with how it's going, inlet and exhaust mani sent off today to get modified so until I get those back the engine cannot go in :/
