IMOC National Economy run 2014 (Western region)

Hi Guys

For the first time ever, the IMOC regions is going to fill the fuel tanks and competing against each other to find the most economic mini in the country. Each region will hold a qualifying economy run between now and the National Mini weekend in Carrick on shannon in August, by where the 3 most economic minis in each region will compete in the National Final.

The Western region will be holding there run in June (date to be confirmed) starting in O Rourkes filling station on the Leitrim road outside Carrick on shannon at 1pm

Update .
Date[/url] 15th June . O Rourkes filling station Leitrim road Carrick - on -Shannon .
Start 1 o clock .
Route 52 Miles .
Rules Minimum of 2 people per car . Factory fitted engine . car filled at same pump and facing same direction both times . . Tulip diagram of route and interval milages of direction changes provided .

Thanks a million to everyone who took part today, 14 cent was the difference between 1st and 2nd. Joe Conboy has set a brilliant organisational standard to the event so I am really looking forward to seeing the results from the rest of the regions

A big thanks to all 14 car that turned out .
The route 51.5 miles .
Most cars averaged round 7 euros of fuel .
But the winner a 1 liter City at 6 euro = 59.65 MPG Owned by Padraig Creegan .
Second Dan Maloneys Elf at 6.14 euro=58.29 MPG .
Third Allister Kees 850 At 6.53euro=54.81 MPG
The Guzzler 10.66 Euro= 33.57 MPG
