Ya once your car reaches 30 years old it's vintage tax. That's €56 a year. All car reg before 1/1/80 are nct exempt, not at 30 years old like some people advertise. Insurance can differ, some insurance companies are 15 years and some are 20 years

Who exactly is doing 15-year insurance? I've heard the rumours but don't know who is doing it.

Steven,
Is that a normal policy or a limited mileage classic policy?

First Ireland insured my 91 RSP for the last 2 years on a classic limited mileage policy(3000 mls) but now AXA have taken it on under my AXA Concours policy.

It was on a classic policy Billy. I added it to the one I had at the time no problem.
