Got some Barcoat on the engine bay and roof this morning , hope to get them into primer later today :wink:

need more pictures tony ...looking at yours just gave me that little push i needed ..kids back in school next week so ill start work then hopefully mine looks as good as yours but doesnt take as long

Engine bay ,all underneath and roof now painted (roof is black)so its on to the interior next

Preped the interior for a repaint

Etch primed a aload of small parts

And shot some black

Drilled and mounted the bumper bars

Then I stripped them and painted them

Mounted the front frame and started to run the cables

Yea I have been bringing parts to work a getting this and that done when I get time , I need to use all the time that I can . I picked up more paint to be on the safe side when I shoot the body , and I will be picking up a new gun today. I hope to have the body ready in the next week or so :roll: (I cant bring that to work) :lol: so on we go I will keep up the posts as I go :wink:

Looks amazing man. Love the gold frames. I was gonna just shoot mine with black but having seen yours think I might go with a nice red to match the final colour of the car.

Just a small update . Fitted the impact bars into the doors. That was a fun job :evil:

And trial fitted the doors on the shell

A word to the wise, dont weld on A panels without the doors fitted :oops: passenger side is not to bad, drivers side needs a little work . To make matters worse these doors are reskined and not off this car :roll:

I had Rob the welder up on monday to sort out my door gaps. We went for a 5mm gap as per the rest of the door . He marked it out and cut the A panel less 2mm . Then he welded it back up , took a line at 5mm from the door and cut down the weld to give the 5mm gap . I only have to dress it back and give it a light skim of filler job oxo sweet :!: :D

hi can you take photos of when ur fitting the brake pipes again please . i bought a mini but the fella before me had thebmini striped so im trying to figure out where every thing goes now
