Tesco vouchers arrived this morning, another €33.50 worth which equates to €134 of Irish Ferries vouchers. We've now got €486-worth of ferry vouchers so the whole return trip to France should be covered once the next traunch of Tesco vouchers are due in early May. Checking the Tesco statement, only 25% of those points have been earned in Tesco, the rest are from using the Tesco credit card on everything else like petrol, VHI, phone bills etc. End of plug for Tesco.

Irish Ferries are creeping up. Rosslare-Roscoff or Rosslare-Cherbourg and back by Cherbourg for 2 adults, 2 kids, and Rapido has jumped from €526 to €596.

It's generally the 2 birth cabins that fill up first, when they are gone though it forces people to take the 4 birth cabins and under fill them :( which makes it much more expensive per head.

Hi Billy

I have the car up for sale but if it didnt sell i would consider going, will be making my mind up this week. i would consider going over either way once there was a few going together. i went to Imm2009 in the uk and ended up going solo, never again, and that was a shorter drive. had car trouble both going and coming and while over. only for some of the lads over that gave me a dig out i would have been goosed. Thanks again lads for that.

I would love to go to this one as i missed last years one.

regards clement

You could also consider flying which is a much cheaper option and judging from the feedback from yesterday's AGM, it may be a popular option.

Just after booking flights as per Tonys itinerary.Return flights and 1 checked bag per flight came to €185.Must practice my yodelling now. :D And before Billy says "If we all flew to the IMM there would be no Minis" I just cannot afford to spend 7/8 days away and think I can repay the brownie points

Are we holding march 24th as the cut off date for a "club entry"? (the significance of the date escapes me ATM)
what was the substance of any discussions or decisions regarding IMM2011 at the AGM?

Keith, Neil has taken on the mantle of organising the Club entry.
The reason the 24th of March is the cut off date for the Club entry is because bank charges are extremely high in Switzerland and the Club will be doing one entry and one entry only.
The current price of €60 per adult is running up until the 31st of March and after that it goes up to €70.
Neil has decided to take entries up until the 24th to allow members the maximum time to avail of the cheap rate and also for him to arrange the bank transfer to make the deadline.
After that if members want to arrange their IMM fees it is up to them. I think Neil said it was in the region of €30 per bank transaction (I am open to correction).
He also outlined the ferry prices and also that a few members will be availing of Aer Lingus and their cheap flights to Switzerland.

Details of the flights are in Tonys post on the previous page.

Great stuff Joe. Will you be hoping to add the jacket you left in Birmingham as hand luggage on the trip home?

This could be well worth visiting, the Schlumpf Collection at Mulhouse and not much of a detour.

The venue, never mind the planes at that Airshow, looks fantastic.

I think KMG, Joe W & me may need to hire a car in order to see a bit more........!!
