Better hope there are no volcanic eruptions that week or the ferries will be well crowded. :D

Hi Guys, seems to be that I can join the IMM too. I'm not totally sure at the moment but I think it's going straight to Neumarkt :)
I'm looking forward to see you all and have a beer :P

Cheers, Kai

The powers that be have convinced me to go after all!!!

I'll be doing the fly/train/lift style way of getting there.
Just booked my flight with Aer Lingus - thanks for the tip off Billy & Adrian!!

Because I work in CIE, I can avail of 75% off European train travel so that will ease the bill
Now, I just need to translate the train timetables from German to Oirish...!!

Tony,

What you save on the train should offset the courier charges on the tent and sleeping bag

Are the Dublin ferries to be booked with Irish Ferries or Stena? Are we taking the fast ferry on the way back or taking the old reliable?

Need to send off my Tesco vouchers.

Right, I have the Stena end of things booked, they wouldn't take the Tesco Vouchers for the Fast Ferry so I'll be going on the 21:30 slow Ferry instead.

Now to sort the P&O leg of the trip 8)

Dublin-Holyhead 0820 Stenaline on Wednesday May 19th booked with Tesco vouchers. Tip for booking Stena: You are supposed to send the vouchers by registered mail to Stena Holyhead which obviously costs, but the nice people in Stena in Cork will also accept the vouchers for the price of a normal stamp.

Every little helps.

When I brought back the Rapido from Huddersfield, I took the A640 towards Oldham between Junctions 21 & 23 on the M62. It's a gorgeous well-surfaced windy road and it would be lovely with a Mini.

One to keep in mind.
