Thank you guys I changed the shoes around and bleed the breaks. The mini is driven great its nearly ready for the road.

Iv been enjoying taking the mini out for drives but I wanted to do the engine bay as it's not in a good state and also up grade a few bits like the brakes ect.

Shuts or stone chip same thing really any good motor factors will have it.
I have used two types both are used with a stone chip spray gun which attaches to an air compresser. But the yellow can one comes in a spray can aswell ands it's just as good iv used it on my back sub frame and I have no problems. Hope this helps u.

May I make a suggestion here since ya have the engine out change the core plugs if they are old. They are dirt cheap smarten up the engine too and whelk you know they are new and won't pop at an inconvenient time.

Any suggestions always welcome . Ya I ment to change them before I painted the engine got carried away I'm going to change them.
So iv been busy finishing off my dad's bike now back to the mini.

Ah shame mate, the mtm is the best test for ur car and an awsome weekend away with mini owners :) I did it in 2013 missed 2014 and doing 2015 hopefully will bed very year! It's an amazing drive :) but your car is looking very tidy :) well done

Wow the paint looks flawless , love that green colour too, only downside i would like to see the welding a little better on the floors or replace the panels, but great work dude!

fitted electronic points. was having trouble with the points. now the cars flying

I needed wheel arch covers for the back seats newtons are not the cheapest for stuff. found this guy in the uk who will make you any colour
you want plus with piping if you want. got these made and posted to me for just under €20. really happy with them

I just saw your comment about a Clubman estate towing a caravan,I would be pretty sure that was me before I went to Kent last year.Good work on your Mini as well,that interior really suits it.

Getting ready for IMM 2016 picked up a few bits for the car. Got a Desmo roof rack, A008 Tyres, new radio and a USB port, volt gauge and cigarette socket.
