It ran well but I only ever drove the car up and down the road and then parked it in the garage. The carb needed tuning but it ran smoothly and quietly.

Not much of an update but...
I finally have the gear linkage all sorted, carbs and exhaust are all finished, suspension is finished (just needs setting up), and got my reg plates sorted too.
Jobs left:
-Radiator
-Fuel pump
-Rev counter
-Suspension set up
And a few other little bits as well.
Will hopefully make more progress this week/weekend!

Finally a little more progress and a pic!
Big thanks to Paul Hickey who did a load of work on the car with me yesterday. There were lots of small things to do that aren't worth mentioning but we did get the engine bay pretty much finished, the brakes working and I even got to bring it for a little spin up and down outside
Might have it finished this weekend.

UPDATE!
Car is on the road as of last Friday, was great feeling when I drove it out of the workshop!!! Still needs a few cosmetic things done and a rolling road tune but it all works.
Might have to change the cam down the line as it's not the most driveable but the car sounds fantastic, it's louder than most cars on the road too!
Will take a few pics over the next day or so and will have it at Mondello on Sunday.

Wow...haven't updated this in a while!
Been using the car on and off over the last few months and have been making 1 or 2 little mods here and there. Most notably I've switched to mapped ignition so I can now drive the car in confidence when it's raining, and I've just raised the ride height by around 3 inches and fitted some Cooper S Reverse Rims with snow/gravel tires for the forecasted bad weather!
It's been too dark to take photos but I'll definitely get some tomorrow and post them up!
