Durrow Vintage Show this Sunday - Assemble in Durrow town square at 11.30am and one convoy into Show afterwards

ill be there but not bringing the mini im afraid

Folks,

I've been asked about coming late for the Durrow show on Sunday and parking at the club stand. The answer from the organisers is very simple - YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be parked elsewhere in the field.

At Durrow, you park in whatever order you arrive so in effect there are no set club stands. That's why our only chance of having all the Minis together is that we assemble the cars outside the show beforehand and then drive in a single convoy into the show field.

We will be assembling all Minis at 11.30am in the town square in Durrow. For those travelling from the south, you will have to pass the show field and continue to Durrow itself. At 11.50 we will proceed to the show field as one group and park wherever we are told.

We don't make the rules at Durrow but with a bit of effort on our own part, we can still have a successful and impressive IMOC stand.

If anyone thinks they may be running late on Sunday morning and wants us to hang on a few minutes before the convoy sets off, call me at 087-4195640. If we don't know you're definitely coming, you can't expect us to wait for you.

Anyone coming from Cork should meet at the Silversprings Hotel at 9am for a 9.30am departure in convoy for Durrow. A few of us will be meeting up with the Cork contingent along the way.

I'll be there in my Mini but because of work committments I won't make it until about about 1:45-2pm.

Hopefully, I can get parked up beside the rest of you but sure if I cant thats it.

Fitted new Smiths speedo, temp guage and oil pressure guage today as well as moving the drivers seat back on its bracket for better comfort.
