For those of you who were not on MTM and did not hear this.There will be a track session for minis only on the day.It will be a 15-20 minute session and the session is open to the first 22 people who sign up for this.The cost is €40 and the driver must be over 18 and have a full licence.Mondello will have a limited number of helmets that can be got for a deposit.If anyone is looking for a helmet,I have one that I got for the MR track day.Ths is a great chance to give your mini plenty of the loud pedal and not get any points although if you spin at Dunlop you may be in for some leg pulling.Contact Jenny Farrell on 045 860200 to book.

Talking to Jenny yesterday, there are already 85 Minis pre-booked. Last week there was only 19!!!!

Jenny rang me today to say that she will be cutting off the number of Minis by next Tuesday in order to post out the windscreen stickers in time.

Met Jenny at Mosney yesterday and she says that there are 150 Minis booked in at this stage, with all the main Mini Clubs being represented, she also confirmed that there would be no problem if people wanted to camp down there on the Saturday night.
She also said that Tuesday would be the cut-off day for applications as the site plan has to be drawn up and with over 700 cars entered it would be a nightmare to have to juggle placements around because of growing numbers.

Jenny also assured me that absolutely no BINIs will be allowed inside the paddock and anyone trying to get one in will be politely directed to the public car park whether they are part of a club or not.

I don't think we have to worry about that Billy,this is a classic only show with special one off depensation for all classic minis.Tom Heavey and Mondello are adamant that there is plenty of room for classic mini's but BINI's along with all other euroboxes will be out in the public carpark.Although if the show is still running in 2031 they can come on in that is if they haven't burnt or rattled to pieces before that.
