After all the occasions that the AA man has had to rescue you, it's good to see that something has rubbed off
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.

He was lucky, it's the only thing I know how to fix on an MPI. That Switch ahs caught a lot of MPI/SPI owners out.

Brought the Hornet to the Conna Vintage Show yesterday. Mervyn Hales had his yellow/green South African Mini GTS there along with a purple '89 Mini 30 with wide wheels and arches. I've met the owner before but can't remember his name. I know he reads this forum so if you're that man, introduce yourself.

Neighbours stated that they saw a convoy of Minis driving through Maynooth last week, thought it may have been a wedding. Anyone know what was going on?

Last night when I was driving home from town in my black mini 30 (actually, I was in the passenger seat and the designated driver was driving!) when another mini appeared behind me! It was dark, so I'm not sure of the colour, but I think it was british racing green with white stripes. So we drove along in convoy, which was VERY exciting, until Raheny village, and then the other car sped off into thje distance. Was it anyone on the boards, by any chance?

was the purple mini in Dublin, nearly there? if it was north east dublin I think I've seen that one a few times as well!
Also, a nice red one with white roof and stripes, and 'L' plates keeps stopping at traffic lights at my gate! (I'm in the artane, Killester, raheny area). I waved at it on Sunday, when i was in the front garden hoovering my mini, but I don't think the driver saw me...

Glennon - yes it seems to be the pair. Does anyone know the owners, I would expect the pickup to be spotted on all its outings.
