Did you try Heron’s cove that’s where we are staying and we stayed there last year. The owner even gave us breakfast in the morning

i stayed in herons cove last year very nice place.
but i called yesderday to book and they are full.
she gave me the name of another b&b up the road beside
the church in goleen.this woman will also make us brickfast :D

Picked up our Euros today,,,,, :lol: :lol:


Just got to wait now,,,,, not long,,, Leave for Riv on Friday 30th for the w/e, then home Late on monday, then got to do a bit of washing :roll: ,, repack a few bits , drop dog of at friends, vote at 7pm thursday morning ( yes we have an election :!: ) then leave for the drive up to Pembroke for the ferry over,, to you,,, OH yes hubby has got to make sure he has all the bits ready for the trip,,, for the Mini,, lol,,

Tip for those leaving from Dublin on Friday:

Remember it is a long drive down (about 5 hours without stops) so allow yourself enough time to get there with Friday traffic en route, getting lost etc!!!

Drivers Sign On starts at 7pm.

From Cork, I would take the N71 through Bandon, Clon, Skibb etc down to Mizen.

Tell me about it..... We let Macker take the lead last year... He found roads so small that i think some of them were just peoples drive ways or farmers fields with a bit of gravel on the edge.....

If it's any help, I did Mallow to Colla last Saturday in 1hr 45mins and that was with a 16' car transporter.

We are away in the morning to somthing we call RIV RUN,, maybe you have seen it in the Mini World Mag.... be home sometime on Monday, have a good weekend one and all, and yes I do have everything ready for the MTM,, so all we got to do when we get home , is re pack the Mini, with the stuff piled up on the sofa in the study,,, :lol:
