brake lights

Post by just_st3v3n »

hi guys i have just replaced my front brake pads and have noticed when i brake i need to exert to much pressure on the brakes to actually get the brake lights to come on.... :?
i have looked through haynes manual and cant seem to find how to adjust the brake pressure switch so the brake lights come on when i literally press the brake?

Im so crap at explaining

The switch is either on the brake pedal itself or else is a pressure switch on the subframe below the clutch cover.

Which system have you ?

Don't forget that the pads will take some time to bed in fully, so initially the braking will be a bit crap, but it will improve.
