Fitting Glass

Keith recently posted regarding problems fitting the rear window in his Mini.

When fitting my glass I put the seal around the window opening first.
Then inserted the glass into the seal using lots of glass cleaner liquid as a lubricant.
A few plastic spatulas came in handy at this stage.
Finally getting the chrome strip into the seal in order to firm it all up.

I only used the string method on the quarter windows.

I hope this is of benefit and maybe give it another try.

I've watched Ray Cunningham in Galway Mini Centre do it in minutes. Practice obviously makes perfect.
